Oh my goodness my fridge isn’t cooling and I have a tea party coming up. Guests need cold snacks! Messaged him Sunday night and the repair was finished by 11:30 the next day! Clean. Punctual. Understandable. Polite. Knowledgeable. He didn’t talk down to me. Yay! My fridge is working now. My tea party and I thank him!

When our refrigerator started having issues, we were about to buy a new one but decided to try repairing it first. We reached out to Same Day Services, and Chris responded within minutes of our request. He was available to come the next day for a diagnosis. Chris identified that the compressor needed replacing, the coils andintake needed a good cleaning - a significant expense at over $900—but considering the fridge’s quality, we opted to go ahead. Unfortunately, even after replacing the compressor, the fridge stopped cooling again. Chris returned the next day and then again, each time attempting different fixes (like replacing the capacitor and the dryer), tirelessly working to resolve the issue. With each failure, he was very responsive and came out the very next day. On that final visit, Chris also tried to purge the system and noted there was a clog that couldn’t be cleared. Ultimately, this led us back to our initial thought—a replacement was necessary. Chris was upfront about the situation throughout the process. He refunded most of our money, keeping $120 for the efforts, which felt reasonable given the circumstances. Moreover, Chris offers a 1-year warranty on his work, adding an extra layer of confidence in his services. While we greatly appreciate Chris’s dedication and transparency, a more thorough initial diagnosis through the entire cooling system might have prevented the need for multiple return visits and part replacements on the unit. Overall, Chris’s knowledge and honest approach were commendable. He really tried to save our fridge, and eventually had to call it quits. Chris’s efforts and warranty make him highly recommendable for anyone needing honest and thorough appliance repair service. We would use him again.
