FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees for writing and editing vary depending on the scope of the project. Once I understand what the client is looking for, I can quickly turn a proposal around that breaks down each phase of the project. For example, editing and proofreading rates are typically quoted by word count. Whereas, coaching/consulting are provided at an hourly rate. My proposals are straight-forward, easy to understand, with no hidden fees. I do not surprise my customers with unexpected costs or invoices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Connect by phone or email. 2. Understand the scope of the client's project, desired results, and timeline. 3. Provide a clear proposal for the work required. Set up milestones if appropriate. 4. Communicate along the way. 5. Deliver work in one final product. 6. Submit my invoice to my happy client.
