Steve was everything my partner and I were looking for in a photographer for our marriage. He was responsive and punctual in communication, coordination with our event, and in delivering the final product. He was professional, knowledgable, and friendly in his work, making a great impression not just with us but with our families as well. His work was thorough from start to finish, and his love of his craft shows in the finished photos. Steve was clearly very skilled in getting the right pictures, but he was also humble as well. He not only planned out an excellent photoshoot for us -to include the family but also highlighting us as the main event-, but he was even open to ideas from the wedding party. We were really impressed with his work ethic and his ability to make everyone feel at ease knowing he was behind the camera and capturing these wonderful moments for us. Steve is not only an excellent photographer, he brings amazing energy to an event. We wanted candid photos taken at our son’s post wedding celebration and we could not have been more pleased & impressed with him. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet, talk, shoot to get to know each other. Then, if we all are comfortable, we do the actual shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
18 years as an educator. Was the virtual learning coordinator for a major school district, and that involved customized video and imagery for learning. I learned to make it about the customer (student) not about me.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Happy accident. Through my role in education as a technology specialist, I had to videography, then photography.
