I am recently widowed and not used to hiring out for repairs as my husband handled all the repairs and up keep. I had 4 different quotes and I was most impressed with Kyle, he came out on the day he said he would and his quote was very reasonable. He was so polite and I felt very comfortable with him. They did all the work I needed and was able to work around my schedule. The deck and porch turned out wonderful. He also open up a small closet so now it is much more functional. I liked it so much I may have him do my other one in my craft room. I have already had people tell me how good it looks and my neighbors got his card because she is interested in have a deck put on her house. Thanks again Kyle for your wonderful work.

I would recommend Kyle in a second! I got 4 bids, Kyle Dechert was the first. He came to my home, talked and LISTENED to what I wanted. He help me work out a few things, measured and I got my bid the next day. Professional, pdf format, not scribbled on a piece of paper, like the rest of the so called “professional “ deck companies! He was polite and knowledgeable! Now the work. 1) on-time 2) answered any question I had before starting and during the process 3) he and his crew were very professional, no cursing, no goofing off, and fun 4) the work they did was excellent and the quality and attention to detail was way above and beyond what I expected 5) they finished on time 6) I added, enclosing the deck even though he had to make an extra trip to get lumber. No problem Don’t let these other deck companies fool you with all their fancy talks and sale pitches. Dechert Construction did beautiful work and for less. Same materials and this thing is solid as a rock and beautiful!

Kyle located the reason rain was leaking into my house. He determined it was a small area where the roof didn't cover the edge of my house, causing wood to rot on the edge, and repaired it perfectly. His and his crew's professional carpentry work rebuilt a 6-window frame beautifully and in a very short time, on site, in one day. His prices are reasonable. I plan to have him paint all my house trim and will hire him for any other carpentry work I might need. I highly recommend his services.

Prices can Vary from one job to the next. I always want to look at the job first. Before giving estimates.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in Construction all my adult life. I started straight out of high school as framer where we framed custom homes. I also worked in the A/C and heating field. I then became a residential inspector for Dpis engineering I became licensed in IRC Building, Plumbing,Electrical, and energy star resnet rater. And then I went to work for several builders as a construction manager building homes in the City of San Antonio and New Braunfels.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up around Construction and have spent my entire adult life working in all aspects of construction.
