Hi Im Chris from Woodco Paint and Wallcoverings. I have over 20 years experience in high end painting and wallpapering, even though, I am almost 100% wallpaper these days. I can do additional painting on your project if needed. *NOTE: I do not install peel and stick. It is problematic, and simply doesnt look professional, and I encourage anyone to go with traditional paper. Please dont request a quote for peel and stick. I always prefer to do everything through email, to have all info organized and available any time, so instead of requesting a phone call, go ahead and carefully read my quote form I'll message you with, and you can email me back, and go from there. I can almost always quote a job from home with a little help from you. I am detail oriented, go the extra mile, and am proficient in high end residential papers, murals, grasscloths, veneers, cork, silk, etc. I am a member of the Wallpaper Installers of America guild, and we all trade information with each other freely, so I have an extensive knowledge base for whatever project I am tasked with. Chris did a stupendous job for us on a small but really tricky wallpaper repair project in West Austin. While updating the kitchen, we decided to keep the authentic, complicated toile from Paris, which was installed years ago... but removing a cabinet left a big raggedy mess. Worse, we only had a small amount of irreplaceable wallpaper to work with. Chris was easy to reach, worked us quickly into his schedule, did the project for the excellent price quoted, matched up the pattern perfectly and delivered the result we were hoping for. I am SO thankful that we found this pro and will definitely use Woodco again.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The houseboat I have pictures of is probably my proudest job. I spent a total of 8 months on that project. I painted the inside, and outside, as well as stained and lacquered all the woodwork. The only thing I didnt do was the hull, and the floor.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Details of procedures and products. Know what comes with the price. Is primer included? How many coats? You're not getting a better deal if you're shorted on material quality or having corners cut.
