I needed to find someone to help shoot some video for our business and we had the hardest time finding someone until I connected with Jacob at Hen's Bread. He is such a nice person to speak with and more than anything, he was the ONLY person we vetted for the job that actually listened to what I needed. Every other videographer we contacted either didn't contact us back, asked for twice our budget, or they wanted to completely change our vision for the project to make it something we didn't need. Jacob and Clay did an amazing job on the day of our shoot. They arrived early, were very detail-oriented, and had all the latest and best equipment for the job. They made the process so easy and enjoyable. But again - most importantly - they helped me bring the vision I had in my head to life on the screen! Not to mention, they were so nice. I would highly recommend Hen's Bread for your video needs. I can't imagine you'll find a better, more professional team in Austin. They are fairly priced, great at communicating the steps of the process, accept all forms of payment and they turned around my video FAST. Hen's Bread will be our go-to from now on for all our video and photography needs. They also have an on-location studio to shoot smaller projects. I'm a very happy customer and can't wait to work with them again.

I have no words to describe the service I have received from Jacob.We worked everything online and over the phone since I am from STL The best videographer in Austin. I had tried many other photographers in Austin but no body gave such a excellent response than Jacob. Not only the service but his kindness, work and professionalism do match with his profession. I hired Hen's Bread Productions for a 34 video educational course and a 5 video YouTube series for Genesis Drum & Bugle Corps (genesisdbc.org). I hired them because when i interviewed them, I liked their people and I thought their personalities would work well with the performers (students) and educators at Genesis. After over 2 weeks of filming on site with our people, not a single complaint about anything from hundreds of students and dozens of educators. They all loved Jacob and working with Hen's Bread Productions. In fact, one of our staff members even hired them for their wedding afterward. I can tell the kids loved Hen's because of how they performed when the cameras were around. The footage we got was absolute electric, cinematic gold. The best footage we have ever had by far. Both because of the filmography and the fact that our performers were excited to have Hen's on site. Delivery was on time, to spec, and exceeded expectations. The little touches they added in the edit to keep the educational content engaging put the course over the top. We have had a huge amount of positive feedback from our community about the product and I think it has already made a huge positive impact on our brand which was one of the goals we set out to achieve with this project. We were so impressed by Jacob's videography services! We asked Jacob to complete a video of our wedding ceremony, and he did a fantastic job! Jacob was very responsive before and after the event, provided a high-quality video that was exactly what we were looking for at a reasonable price, and had a great level of interaction at the ceremony itself; he was fun to work with and very pleasant and personable without being obtrusive or distracting. We can't recommend him highly enough!

You’re paying for me and my employees time. So I ask what your budget is because I want to work with you but I also want my time valued.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to understand what the project is, the location and time of filming. If you are a business I like to understand where you would like to enhance your products messaging. If you are a person hosting an event and have certain expectations or visuals that are appealing to you I like to ask for copies of them as a reference point of what you are expecting. For example if you do music videos I like to see what kind of music videos you like then put my spin on it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Just trial by fire. I have over 10+ years in editing and camera work.
