My whole life I wanted to be a singer. While I'm a gifted instrumentalist, my ability to control the tone and pitch of my voice has been very elusive. I also lacked confidence. I was looking for a teacher that had a diverse skillset, was an active musician in the community, and had formal training. Mr Reese was the perfect find! He really took the time to assess my current abilities (which were quite limited vocally), understand my goals, and created a measurable training program that allowed me to focus on the right steps at the right pace while being able to see and feel the progress. I thought his rates are priced fairly, he was very responsive, always showed up on time, and communicated clearly. I can't recommend him enough. No matter what your singing ability, he can take you further. I have found my voice thanks to him!!!!

Reese is HIGHLY professional. I am a full-time musician and was looking for a way to better protect my voice. Other coaches I had seen before had techniques that weren't really practical or my style. I love that Reese is an actual professional musician. He had great tips and tricks that really helped me sustain my voice way better without trying to eliminate my artistry and vocal style. His technique was accessible, accommodating, and well worth the price. Highly recommend!

Didn’t really use his service because he location was far from where I needed the service but was professional and courteous in answering some questions!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The process for working with a new customer is to begin with a consultation. This is to assess where the customer is currently with their goals, this is to also establish a plan of action. From that point, we continue to build and work toward obtaining those goals.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I received my BA in Music Education from Huston-Tillotson University where I studied classical voice and instrumentation.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started teaching voice unofficially through being a Musical Director at church where I grew up. Using the knowledge I acquired in college to refine the ensemble, I began to see growth in various member’s vocal abilities and later decided to utilize those skills for one on one lessons as well.
