FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on how well the walls are prepared and the quality of the material, the cost of the work also depends. For example: there is a material (wallpaper) that does not react at all to water and glue. That is, no matter what you do with them during the installation process, these wallpapers stretch well and each panel connects well to the next panel. There are wallpapers that are very easy to tear, and there are wallpapers that cannot be installed with regular glue. Etc. I have given only a small list of what we have to deal with. Here is the price for work for 1 sq.ft (height up to 9 feet, If the height is higher, the price will change): $3.00 sq.ft. Vinyl and Non-woven paper-based wallpaper; $4.00 sq.ft. Peel and Stick Removal; $5.00 sq.ft Fabric wallpaper and wallpaper made from Natural materials;
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before determining the cost of the work and offering the Client a price, I collect information about how prepared or unprepared the walls are, specify the area of the walls (two or three photographs and the height from floor to ceiling are enough), and ask the Client to send me a link to the material. Next, I determine the degree of complexity and volume of work to be done. I send the price to the Client and agree on it with him. Further, if the Client is satisfied with my approach to the matter and, of course, the price, we agree on the time of my arrival to carry out the work. After completion of the work, I invite the Customer to check (accept) the work performed. Of course, I give clear instructions that in the room where the wallpaper is hung, it is extremely important to maintain a humid environment and it is strictly forbidden to create a draft for 24 hours, as this can lead to the wallpaper starting to peel off the walls after hanging after 3-4 month. If you follow the technology, problems will not arise in the future. Usually the Customer himself sees and understands that the work is completed and the time has come to make payment for the work performed. Typically a small payment is made to Venmo, Zelle or Cash. Larger payments are made through a bank account or by writing a check.
