FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First 30 minute lesson is Free. I also give discounts for package deals and/or paying a full month in advance. And I give an even deeper discount for those that pay more than one month in advance. Make sure and ask me about them :)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually for our first lesson, I’ll get to know you and your goals. I will bring a number of books to choose from depending on your level (beginner through advanced). And I’m always open to suggestions on what you’d like to work on. Your goals are extremely important to me. So the first lesson typically gives me a chance to plan out the right pathway of success for your musical journey. And it’s also a chance for you to get to know me and decide if my style of teaching is right for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been a musician since the age of 3 years old. After high school, I continued my studies at Southwest Texas College and Northwest Vista College in San Antonio TX in Liberal Art. From there, I went on to study Film Scoring & Orchestration at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. And I’m currently enrolled at Berklee Online in ultimate pursuit of my Master’s in Composing for Film, TV & Games. I’ve also earned my certification from the Audio Engineering Institute in San Antonio, TX for Live & Studio Production. And my production background gives me a great insight and ability into helping those that are interested in recording their own songs or learning about music technology.
