Kerry L. was patient and actively listened to the details surrounding my request for a jazz piano instructor. She then shared with me that she had just hired a piano instructor who specialized in jazz piano and wished to match me with him as soon as he had completed his required onboarding. In the meantime, she asked if I would have a session today with another one of her instructors (Amy) who she believed would definitely be able to assist me in the short-term - while I waited a couple weeks for her new jazz piano instructor. Amy S. was amazing. Took my unscheduled lesson with less than two hours notice. She was punctual, polite, responsive, and confident that she could help me. And she proceeded to thoroughly guide me through piano solo parts for 4 charts that I needed to get under my hand for tomorrow night’s big band rehearsal. I’ve sat with several online instructors. None as astute. Very much looking forward to a long learning relationship with Kerry L. and Lesson With You. Thanks so much!

I've worked with Geoffrey Schellenberg with Lesson With You for just over two years for weekly voice lessons and from the first free trial lesson to now, the entire experience has been so positive. Geoff is incredible, very warm and encouraging and I have learned so much from him along the way! He's been so easy to work with, great about communication and flexibility, and just an all around great person. Couldn't recommend him more highly. I've also never had any issues with any of the behind the scenes practicalities with Lesson With You--billing was always easy, clear and upfront communication and policies. My daughter has been playing piano for many years (since she was 5 - she's now 13), but I have watched her desire to play piano slowly dwindle over time. I reached out to LessonWithYou.com to see if they had anybody who might be able to help. I received a response from Kerry almost immediately - she has been extremely helpful and attentive, listening carefully to our situation. She matched my daughter with Christian, and he seems like a great piano instructor. She has only had two lessons so far, but she said to me last night (without prompting), "I don't know what it is about Christian, but I just find myself more interested in practicing." I'm definitely looking forward to seeing where this goes!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every single new student is eligible for a entirely free no-commitment half hour trial lesson where they'll meet their teacher and get started with learning music! All of our lessons are the same price for each teacher. $35 for half an hour, $50 for 45 minutes, and $65 for an hour. We don't make students do long term contracts, so you're welcome to start, stop, or resume lessons anytime!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every teacher has a Bachelor's degree from top music school, specifically for their area. Most of our teachers also have a Master's or Doctorate in their instrument field. Our teachers only teach the lessons they're best at. So the piano teachers all have a Master's in piano, and the guitar teachers all have a Bachelor’s in guitar etc.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with students of every age. Our youngest students right now are 7 years old, and we also have students who are retired. As long as the student has an interest in music lessons, we love to work with them!
