My attention to detail and extensive work in fine art realism and figurative painting allows me to get very fine results in color, depth and detail. While I am a very detailed painter I paint very fast as well for the amount of detail achieved in a short period of time.

The San Antonio dental office of Dr. Kimberly Voges commissioned the artist Lee Hazel from Austin to transform our newest treatment room into a spectacular view of paradise, the hills of Tuscany, Italy! The "wine room" is a collaboration of the doctor's vision & the artistry of Lee Hazel. It couldn't be more beautiful and exactly what the doctor had hoped for! To our surprise she finished the room in 3 days, working around our schedule of patients even while traveling from Austin. Lee's work featured lots of amazing touches that the patients enjoy looking at. Some of our favorites are the rustic shelf with a glass of wine that is so realistic you'd liked to take a sip. Also the full stone arch and life sized wine barrel are favorites. We would love to work with her again and given the opportunity we would! She comes highly recommended by Dr. Voges and everyone in her office.

What a wonderful experience working with Lee. She helped me with a mural in my babies' nursery. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted so she brought me some great ideas and the outcome was just beautiful. She was so detailed with the design, colors and painted the mural even more beautiful that I ever imagined. The mural showed her expertise. I will work with her again and again!

I have bought pictures from her and love both her work and the vintage frames that she presents it in. She also did a ceiling mural in the dining room of my house which I love and admire everyday. She spent many hours on scaffolding getting a painting of Tuscany just right. I highly recommend her.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price per project, not per hour or day. If it takes me longer the price does not change,.. same if it takes me shorter time to complete. I paint very fast.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We brainstorm together and I come up with references, once we land on a complete and specific concept for the mural, I can give an accurate estimate over email and schedule the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree from UT in Studio Art, I studied art at the Paris American Academy in Paris, France, and have also traveled to Liverpool England for fine portraiture and Classical Realism painting taught by modern day masters.
