- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
‣ No Hidden Fees!!!!!!! ‣ Do you need just one mover! Ask us, we may be able to help at a discounted rate! ‣ Flat Fees Available for small jobs that only require heavy lifting ‣ $110/hr for 2 movers. Each additional mover is an extra $55/hr. ‣ $100 Service/Travel Fee for local moves that need a truck (moves within 18mi of each other, otherwise we will calculate the fee for you based off of the distance)** **Depending on the travel distance the service may be increased slightly. ‣ No Truck needed? Service Fee $25 (Within Austin City Limits) ‣ No service fee for same building transfers (Within Austin City Limits) ‣ Long-distance Moves (Outside Austin City Limits): Additional Mileage Fee: $1.50 per mile (round trip from your location to the destination and back to our headquarters) ‣ 5% Discount for cash paying customers ‣ $100 Deposit (will be applied towards your total at end of the move) ‣ Deposits will be forfeited due to cancelations within 48hrs of appt ‣ Deposits forfeited for rescheduled jobs within 48hrs of appt ‣ $50 Heavy item fee for items weighing >300lbs (pianos, etc)* --‣ 99% of Washers and dryers do not weigh 300+lbs ‣ 2 hr minimum for moves outside Austin City Limits! ‣ 1.5 hr minimum for moves within Austin City Limits!!!! ‣ 3.5% Surcharge for all credit and debit cards. DISCOUNTS: ‣ 5% Military Discount (valid military id required) ‣ 5% Teacher/School Faculty/Student Discount (valid unexpired id required) ‣5% Discount for cash paying customers (change will be available) ‣ Discounts may not be combined. ‣ You can call or text Noah's (Managing partner) personal number at anytime between 5am and 10pm after you have first made contact with us on thumbtack. ‣ No Hidden Fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First you will speak with a representative. The rep will gather the necessary information to give an accurate estimate and will email you a copy of the price breakdown. We email a confirmation after the deposit has been paid, text a reminder 1 day before your move, and text and/or call the day of the move when we are on our way!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner previously thrived as a computer programmer, but with a desire for a more direct customer-centric role, embarked on a successful journey in the furniture moving industry. Over the past 11+ years, they've meticulously built their expertise, starting from the ground level as a crew member and quickly progressing to crew lead. This operational foundation empowered them to excel in leadership roles, including field management, sales management, and operations management, culminating in their role as General Manager for large companies consistently praised by customers on platforms like google.
