FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers should know that my pricing is transparent, fair, and based on the scope of the project. I provide detailed, written estimates that include the cost of materials, labor, and any necessary prep work, so there are no hidden fees. I strive to offer competitive pricing while ensuring high-quality results. The final price will depend on factors such as the size of the area being painted, the complexity of the job, and the materials used. I’m always happy to discuss the estimate and answer any questions to ensure the customer feels comfortable and confident in their investment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I start by scheduling an initial consultation to understand their vision, needs, and budget. During this meeting, I assess the space, discuss color options, and explain the process in detail. Afterward, I provide a clear and detailed estimate, including the scope of work, timeline, and materials. Once the project is approved, we schedule a start date and ensure proper preparation, such as surface cleaning, patching, and priming. Throughout the project, I maintain open communication, giving updates and addressing any concerns promptly. My goal is to deliver a smooth, professional experience and results that exceed expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I don’t have formal education in painting, my expertise comes from hands-on experience over the past 11 years. I spent three years working in Colorado Springs, where I gained valuable skills in surface preparation, color selection, and application techniques. Since then, I’ve run my own residential painting business in Austin for eight years, continuously refining my craft. I’ve also kept up with industry trends, learning about new products and technologies to deliver the best results for my clients.
