FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A lot of handymen charge by the task or by the hour, so you can often get a good deal if you bundle a bunch of tasks into one day. Most of the time, a handyman will come and fix several different items in your house; you pay for materials and by the hour, so it’s worth it to try to consolidate those tasks into a single time block.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Identifying the customer needs and scope of work. 2. Getting a visual by phone or in person of the customers project 3. Supply a estimate to the customer. 4. Arrange a day and time to start work 5. Invoice the customer when work is complete
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
