Ruben and team have done several remodeling projects for us now, and we’re about to kick off the next one with them! They’ve quickly become our go-to contractor — Ruben is a great guy to work with, easy communication, prices work fairly, and the crew is kind, respectful, and excellent at their trades. We’ve worked with several other contractors here in Austin with mixed experiences, but I’ve only got positive things to say about Lakehill — highly recommended.

I am very pleased with the job. Ruben came out with 48 hours to look at adding onto my my boathouse closet. After talking with him, he was able to provide me an estimate within 24 hours. His price was competitive to the other 2 estimates. One was higher, and one was lower. Felt skeptical about the one lower quote. Ruben gave me a start date and said it should take 2 days. He and his crew showed up when they said and finished on schedule. The site was left clean, and the project was done top-notch. Definitely will use them again. Now, all I need to do is paint it.

We hired them to build an additional room on our small home. The project involved demoing an old patio, and adding a new room over the demolished space. They fixed any existing issues with the home, and gave us the space of our dreams in exactly the time they estimated! The work was done efficiently, the price was excellent, there was little to no disruption to our lives, and they respected all my concerns about the logistics of the addition. They were responsive to all my communications, and protected our house from inclement weather multiple times! Ruben and Martin did a great job, hire these guys!

I submitted the request through Thumbtack late Sunday, received several calls the next day. Took a few quotes. Hired Ruben on Tuesday and the deck was built by his outstanding team by end of day Wednesday. Blew my mind! Looks awesome and now can’t wait to get started on planning the pergola!
