Introduction

For all of my life, I have been building with Lego blocks and creating sets with 100s and 1000s of pieces at times. It always took meticulous attention to detail or else I would end up with extra pieces by the end of it and break it apart again. That was something I was willing to do, and a mentality I apply to my assembly work. If I realize I’ve done a step wrong, I don’t shrug it off and move on to save time. I take the extra time to correct my mistake in order to have a finished and well made product. I approach every project as a challenge, and work with excellence in mind. Also I don’t know why people think IKEA furniture is confusing.

There aren't enough adjectives to describe Mateo's work ethic. Mateo was very prompt at returning my information request. I just moved and had new box furniture I needed put together. Matteo took on a large TV Entertainment Center wall unit and then 3 sideboard/accent cabinets with glass doors, that I needed assembled. He worked efficiently, respectfully and did a great job.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will charge a $15 travel fee for any projects outside of a ten mile range from my residence (via road distance, not necessarily a map-view top-down mile radius).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask for reference points for the project, i.e. websites and photos of the finished product so I have an idea of what I'm being asked to assemble. I don't like going in blind. "Bed Frame" could be so many different kinds, ranging from small and simple and taking less than an hour to large and complex and taking over three. Finding instructions manuals on the websites is always a godsend too so I know the EXACT details (Ikea does a great job at this, Wayfair sometimes, Amazon's a turd). Then I settle on price, then find a good time and date.
