- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The cost of any project is primarily determined on the basis of $/sq foot. This goes to the method of construction and materials.. for instance, pulling up carpet is a different job than removing glued linoleum tiles. Project costs can also be determined by access and assignment of responsibilities for handling utilities
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Demolishing projects can generally be characterized as "interior", "outbuilding" or "structure". We handle all. We need to visit the site for a good estimate. We will provide the bid in writing and it will be good for 30 days. A schedule will be agreed upon and will start on-time and continue without pause until completion. We will shepherd the permitting process and secure professionals to cap utilities. Payment will generally be expected upon completion.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We started the company providing only cleanup services - removing junk/materials/furniture. We added the demolition of outbuildings and removal of flooring. That developed into stripping interiors, taking down home additions and small homes... then warehouses and docks.
