- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I It depends on the gift size, paper selections, bows and ribbons, and tags. I do offer sticker tags that can be customized with To, From writing, pictures, the recipient’s face (my personal favorite), and even them with AI — a zombie, a superhero, etc. (I’m working on an order form to get you closer to knowing your price range). And of course it depends on the number of small, medium, and large gifts. Also if boxes are required and not provided, I am happy to get them but that will increase the cost a little. Lastly, I will pick up and drop off gifts but I charge for distance, gas, and labor. I suggest trying to coordinate a time when you’re out already and close by. If you are ever overwhelmed by the pricing, talk to me, we can likely work something out. I recently wrapped half of someone’s gifts for her and she got a bunch of time back and saved on money! *Because of the reason for the season my prices have increased but I will give you a 20% discount for a referral if they pay in advance or you want to you my service again.*
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer asks their questions which I hopefully, mostly answered above. We agree on a pickup/drop off date and who is doing the picking up and dropping off.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30+ years of being alive and a daughter of an OCD mom and perfectionist grandmother. And I actually really enjoyed it. Outside of my friends’ and family’s gifts (and some for them), I wrapped 30 for a Christmas party where everyone had to draw a name out of a stocking and pick out a gift for them. (They were just cheap fun gifts but I didn’t cut any corners and even wrapped over old boxes so you could re-use them without them seeing the old logo. Eco friendly!)
