- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is reasonable and varies from service to service. For websites, I start at $500 and go up depending on complexity. For copywriting, I use a sliding scale depending on the project, the amount of research and the approximate amount of content to be produced. For articles and blogs, I start at: $7.50 per 500-word article or blog $10.00 per 1500-word article blog Prices for copywriting are negotiable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I interview the customer to determine their exact needs, from content to tone to turnaround time. I discuss with them my previous experience and present samples that are similar to the content they are looking for. Website creation includes a longer interview, determination of needs and pages required on the website, whether or not photos are required, and timeline of the project. Multiple meetings may be required.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master of Arts in English and Creative Writing and have been writing on a freelance and professional level for more than 10 years. I am also a published fiction author. I have been creating and maintaining websites on a freelance and professional level for approximately 5 years. My current full-time job is as a Content Marketing Manager, which includes writing, revising and editing content as well as daily website maintenance for 7 brand websites.
