The Maid Quarters is the best cleaning service around. The staff is extremely courteous, prompt, and thorough. Our house sparkled for days. This company actually uses microfibers to clean instead of paper towels, this is very Eco friendly company. I would recommended them if you are looking for a Green Cleaning company. The entire process from booking the cleaning service to the execution of the service was spectacular. Will do business with them again. I highly recommend The Maid Quarters to anyone and their service makes a great gift.

The maids arrived on time to do the first time deep cleaning. I was told it would be $70 and hour and a house my size would take between 2 and 3 hours. Well my final bill was close to $300 and they had just touched the surface of many obvious items. Maybe I have the wrong impression of deep clean but I think of it as detailed cleaning not just dusting over items. They thought dusting light fixtures was deep cleaning At the end as I looked around I told them the entry light needed cleaning, one of the maids said she had dusted it. They did at that point clean the glass of the fixture but not the lights inside.. They did not know how to make a bed and at my instruction turned the bed spread around to the proper orientation on the bed. Over the next two days I found many other obvious missed areas as the sides of the stanless steal refrigerator doors, and a glass vase that needed cleaning in among the other glass items they had cleaned to mention a few. On writing the owner about the problems she wrote back and said I needed to find someone else to clean but would refund $25. Well about two months have passed and I am still waiting for the refund to arrive. For the price and the time they spent it was a shoddy job.
The Maid Quarters, LLC's reply
"The Customer" respectfully this isn't the exact truth of how it actually happened, If we had done such a bad job they why would someone email afterwards asking for the next appointment and confirming that. Spoke with her within 30 minutes of home being finished and she said everything looked great, She laughed about the bedspread said it was fine they fixed it but really only thing she mentioned was a little wash cloth she had in her kitchen, She said she pointed out a few things on her inspection walkthrough with the team which was the entry light, the bedspread which the team quickly fixed. Honestly the house was a bit rougher than customer had explained however we are professional cleaners we can handle it just had allot of residual dust in the air. It didn''t get like that in 3:25 mins so its going to take 2-3 cleans through the home before we can get that dust under control. The bathrooms were tough, the top work and blinds were caked with layers of dust. 1st time through customers home so after completed we had her do an inspection walk through at the end just because we know the customer knows there home best. ( so many variations of how everyone does their bed linens, its a learning curve) She pointed out the entryway light fixture which was cleaned but dust was in the air of the home that its just going to land and take a few cleanings to get that dust level down. The 1 star review came 32 days later after we cleaned for her on Nov 7, 2014 as she emailed me a third time in a very hateful way and mostly hateful towards my team members that I felt perhaps we might not be the right fit for her moving and emailed her very kindly and said this happens from time to time. We are all about meeting customers needs and expectations from a cleaning perspective but she was just hateful to the team and to me thats when I felt it was best to part ways this is when she got mad and started leaving 1/2 truth and bad reviews. It sad because we are great people and have a great cleaning company.

Just had our first cleaning and they were terrific!! The gals worked quickly and didn't miss a spot -- no supervision or do-overs required.

These folks were excellent. Professional, friendly and thorough. We had them do a deep cleaning for us. They are very conscientious and detailed. Highly recommend them. We will have them again.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I decided to start a cleaning company because I have always enjoyed cleaning felt it was one of my strong passions. I come from a history of cleaners (not in the sense they did it for a living) but from a family where I watched my mom, grandma and great grandma and they were always cleaning. As a kid and all through growing up I don't think I ever saw dirt, kind of weird. But never recall any dirt anywhere!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Best way to hire the right cleaning company for you is to be sure there cleaning philosophy lines up with your cleaning expectations. Not always the 1st company you hire is always the right one. I have experienced both sides of it having had a cleaning company clean my home and now being the cleaning company. Based my company business plan off of the experiences I had while having my own home cleaned. It just takes awhile to build that trust and most importantly to feel comfortable with the company that is cleaning it. A good communication with the company is essential not always perfect but if the communication is there it can all work out in the end.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

In this profession its extremely physical work, most nights we can barely walk. Not everyone can be a professional cleaner and even newcomers to the business under estimate the job thinking its easy and anyone can do it. Its actually one of the harder jobs not just from the physical part but because you really have to know your surfaces, what to put on what so it doesn't get damaged. How to work as a team as you come through the home because it can get overwhelming.
