FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is on a flat-rate basis. Estimates are written in detail of the service requested. Once agreed to, a final proposal is written describing the order in which the work is to be performed with multiple milestone payments along the way. For example, a bathroom remodel could have as many as eight payment milestones; from deposit to completion of demo, plumbing, prep for tiling, tiling, cabinet install, paint, to punch list.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, customers are asked the intention of their request, for example, if the services requested are to improve the home for sale or if the customer will continue to reside in the home for an extended time. This question allows me to help the customer stay within their budget. Once a work order is established, a preliminary proposal will be written and agreed upon. It will include a list of work and total costs. Next, a more detailed final proposal will be written, explaining process, time line and payment milestones.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over the past 20+ years, I have had extensive experience working with real estate professionals, investors and home owners.
