- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depends on the job. Most of the time if its a quick small job there is a one hour minimum. Say if you have 5 tvs thats are needing to be mounted or multiple ceiling fans I will give you a set rate. More things to do better the discount on installations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You'll give me the details of the job or what you are wanting through texting or on Thumbtack's messaging system. Most of the time I can give you an estimate then with the job details and/or photos. Then we will schedule a time for the installation. Rarely I need to come out for a in person estimate.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I got my 2 year degree at a community college then also pursued a BS degree at a University for business. I also went through a 4 year union carpentry apprenticeship in the Pacific Northwest. And many leadership/ foreman/ superintendent/ construction management trainings & courses through the international carpenters institute. I have many construction certifications. Also worked from the very bottom of a general construction contractor up to a junior superintendent in the company. I've help run/manage/work on multiple millions of dollars of projects for 9 years. After that started my own company in DFW after completing a data center build.
