FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is $80 an hour for the first service (henna, face paint, or glitter) and $20 more an hour for each additional al service. All three services is discounted to $110 an hour. I can do 8-10 full faces, 10-12 masks, and 12-15 cheeks. Henna and glitter tattoos are typically 10 simple -medium designs an hour, but can be customized to fit your needs. A 2nd and 3rd artist are available and may be necessary for larger parties.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an artist my entire life! I love to create and be creative. I typically spend 5-10 hours a week, just practicing and learning/coming up with new ideas. I love what I do, so it makes it fun to practice!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a volunteer for St. Jude's Target House about 4 years ago. A friend of mine owned a Henna business at the time (New World Henna) and taught me for an event we were doing for the kids and families. I then started working for her and fell in love with the art form. I started facepainting last year and fell in love even more. I decided to open my own business so that I could begin giving 50% of my net proceeds to Hearts of Gold Pit Rescue.
