FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I’m not interested in becoming rich. I am first and foremost an artist. I simply make sure that my expenses are covered and that I’m able to pay all of my Thumbtack fees, government taxes, insurance and equipment updates. I do provide discounts for military veterans and family referrals from previous clients. I do add a destination fee of $15 when traveling to your location if it is over 55 miles from Ooltewah, TN and $25 if your location takes me over 85 miles. It is important to invest in a quality experience. As effective as the app on a smartphone can be, enduring memories are best with the skills of a professional.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everything worth doing well begins with a good conversation. Our introduction opens the dialogue which quickly reveals more than time or location. It also unveils a story and theme. Further exploration and discovery soon follow. I so enjoy the creative endeavor with willing and enthusiastic participants. I’m pleased to say that many of my first time clients often become friends.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Neal Stevens opened my very first class in Photography during my first year of college. That was more than a little while ago. Film has yielded the platform to the digital pixel. I have absorbed everything that I can from a host of classes, seminars, publications plus practice, practice, practice!
