- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you reach out we will typically respond as quickly as possible. Initial questions tend to be as seen below. · What are the measurements and height of the walls? · What room is the installation happening in? · Do you have the wallpaper or are you needing to order it? Once we have the above information we can typically send you an estimate. Once you approve of the estimate we will schedule your install when convenient for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in residential and commercial properties for 20+ years. I learned the trade working with several expert paper hangers throughout the years and have sought out continuing education to stay knowledgeable about advancements in the field as well as the changing landscape of paper types and new application processes. I love what I do and I and my team have personally installed wallpaper on hundreds of walls.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I would help my mother wallpaper in my childhood home, an early 1900’s victorian in the Northeast. Once I was old enough for my first proper job, I worked for a contractor who specialized in historic home restorations. Then, when I met my wife in 2008, we began collaborating on interior projects ranging from restaurants to home retrofits and I have been the head of our wallpaper installation team since then.
