FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically set my rate on a project to project basis. Depending on the artist's budget, the amount of tracks, and the time frame of recording, my rate can fluctuate slightly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If working together for the first time, I like to introduce myself and chat about the artist's needs. If they like, I invite them to come check out my studio and meet face-to-face before beginning their project. If they decide I'm a good fit, we'll schedule a pre-production meeting to discuss the project in its entirety to ensure the recording process goes as smoothly as possible. Once the tracking is complete, I will edit all of the tracks and tune the vocals if requested. I will then create a mix for the customer, with up to 3 free revisions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Belmont University in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Audio Engineering Technology and Music Business. I have been recording professionally since I moved to Nashville in 2010, and also have experience in live audio engineering.
