- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is fairly standard. There is a minimum of 1 hour. Price may increase due to location and hardware needed for the install.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I normally start by saying "Hi - my name is Richard". I've had some good results with that. People will normally come back with "Hi Richard - my name is __________". But seriously, I'll ask some questions about the installation. I've worked with all types of installs, so I can get a good understanding of the project fairly quickly. I'll make sure the location of the project is freezable for myself and also make sure I have the hardware I'll need. I know a lot of the complications with installs, so I'll bring extra types of hardware as a contingency or to have options.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked as an installer for galleries, estates, offices, museums, and more.
