Pierce is an excellent piano tuner. He has tuned pianos at West End UMC and has done a great job. I highly recommend for any work you may have.

Pierce did a excellent job, he is honest, very professional and on time. He replaced a piano wire for my son at a very reasonable price and he also explained a lot to my son about how to replace it and how to tune a piano. Highly recommended!!!

Pierce did a great job! He communicated well when some plans needed to change and was punctual as promised. His piano tuning (and playing) skills are great, and he even fixed a few small things on our 100yr old piano to keep it playing amazingly. Thanks Pierce!

Pierce was absolutely wonderful. He was committed to getting our piano up to speed for an upcoming event and he spent hours doing so. He should actually charge twice as much. He is a Vanderbilt graduate with aspirations to become a conductor. Once the pandemic hit it became difficult—no live performances. At that point he taught himself to tune pianos to make ends meet. I’m not sure how to express how highly we recommend him, he is just that great!!!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    $15 discount to veterans & seniors 60+

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Rick Butler School of Piano Repair

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

In the summer of 2019 I was given a one hundred year old baby grand piano as a gift. After assessing how much it would cost to fix, I just decided I would learn how to repair it myself! (pictures featured are from that project) I was then able to practice tuning it over and over, I enrolled in a course of study, and I have continued to take jobs ever since!
