Jonah went above & beyond to restore our upright piano to its former glory. He was punctual, polite, extremely knowledgeable, and indefatigable. Our piano hadn’t been tuned in 8 years; Jonah worked for 3+ hours without resting to make sure the job got done right. And, even with the extra work, he STILL charged us a reasonable rate. Jonah did a fantastic job getting my piano into great playable shape. I recently acquired a studio upright that had gone unplayed for a number of years. Jonah diagnosed my piano's problems, hammered the pins, gave it a pitch raise, and tuned it exactly where it needed to be. All in all, Jonah was extremely knowledgable about my fixes and helped me find the easiest and cheapest solutions possible. Super nice guy, and he really cares about doing the job right! Great service, affordable rates!

Tunings start at $100, plus tax. Cost can be higher for transportation and more extensive jobs.

I evaluate the piano player first. Is it someone new to the instrument? What musical goals does this person have? Then I asses the piano - what its capabilities are. I can devise a strategy for going forward after these simple first few steps.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the Piano Technicians Guild which is the most prominent organization in the field, and is committed to improving the skills of all members.
