FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In law school I worked part time during the school year and in the summers for lawyers who practiced a wide variety of law. In my third year of law school, I participated in an intern program with the local district attorney's office in which I received permission from the state supreme court to handle real cases under the supervision of other assistant district attorneys. It was at this point that I knew criminal law was the area in which I was meant to work. I developed a real passion for criminal law and helping individuals involved in the system in various capacities. I believe that having a criminal justice system that is fair and responsive to all parties involved is an extremely important part of our society.
