Communication is a little challenging at times and does what he’s requested to do but consistently needs to be directed and double checked. Triple checking if needed. Never assume it’s done and up to par of your acceptable result without validating work and doing a semi-final walkthrough is a definite must and follow up on any touch ups then a final walk through. Lopez was hired for mudding, sanding and skimming already hung drywall and for final cleanup of a 1,500+ square foot basement with 5 room areas and staircase. Had to point out missing mud and was suggested I had to tip extra especially when skimming was scoped out per Lopez since it is afterall a new build. I did not push back since my drywall is moisture resistant and I’m painting with very specific Radon-seal and anti-bacterial paint. I am at the stage of painting as I write this review and I am seeing a lot of areas missed with mud/spackle and areas not sanded. I would advise anyone to spread out the days of work versus hurrying up in 2 days and end up missing the mark of a perfect result by your hired help. Other than my high expectation Lopez is a very hard worker and I appreciate him helping me out to get to this stage of my project. In fact I may just re-hire him for other items of my home projects.
