- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $75 for 1 hour lessons, $60 for 45 minute lessons, and $50 for 30 minute lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I assess the students individual goals and what they are hoping to learn through playing music and learning to play the drums. I also assess their current relationship with music/drumming in the first lesson. Whether the student just wants to play drums for a hobby or they are an aspiring professional, all are welcome!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.A. in Drumset Performance from Berklee College of Music. I graduated in 2013 and ultimately moved to Nashville where I started my career as a professional touring / studio drummer and private instructor. I have toured in over 35 countries and played some of the biggest festivals in the world, including Glastonbury, Bonnarroo, and Lollapalooza. I have been on support tours with artists including Willie Nelson, ZZ Top, Jack White, Bob Seger, and Robert Plant. I am currently sponsored by Zildjian cymbals and Vic Firth drum sticks.
