Introduction

**Based in Nashville but available for online lessons** I am offering a 30 minute trial lesson free for all new students! Send me a message to inquire about scheduling. Playing the drums has always been my passion, ever since the age of five when I first picked up a pair of sticks and started taking lessons shortly after. That passion carried me through to getting a degree at the Frost School Of Music at the University of Miami with a degree in Studio Music & Jazz (2020). Since then, I’ve been able to play with some incredible artists and bands like Anitta and Alejandra Guzman, America’s Got Talent’s Sal Valentinetti and Landau E. Murphy Jr., NBC’s The Voice winning vocal group Girl Named Tom, Tommy Lefroy, Orlando Mendez, Marielle Kraft, Joe Noto, Love & Water, IMY2, Veta Ceti, and many more. I am currently based in Nashville, TN where I continue to tour, record, and teach lessons, either online or in-person at my studio. I've been a teacher for over 5 years and have taught students as young as 4 and adults aged 45+. When you work with me, you get specific to you, tailored instruction based on your needs and goals. Blake changed my son's life in one of the most positive ways. My son enjoyed music when he met Blake and Blake turned that into a passion. He made it so fun and exciting that my son saw a completely different aspect of music that has led him to be incredibly successful not only with music but his academics as well. Blake's balance of work ethic, discipline and emphasizing the value in anything you have the opportunity to do in life really made an impact in my son's life. I ask questions about the student's musical background and what they like or are interested in, and their learning style. I will find a path to work towards their goals in a way that is fun and engaging.

- 20 years of playing experience on the drum set and classical percussion - 8 years of professional experience in a plethora of contexts - Bachelor's degree in Studio Music & Jazz Performance from the University of Miami - 5+ years experience in teaching all ages
