Dancing has always been a passion, and I had my first formal lesson over ten years ago. My classmates quickly figured out I was exceptional at dancing and equally able to explain what the teacher was demonstrating in a way that they understood. I became the unofficial assistant instructor.
Fast-forward seven years, I lead my first class of roughly twenty students, all at varying levels of ability, through three dances over the course of six weeks. All of them enjoyed it, and several lifelong dancers were born. Since then, I've taught many couples to dance for their wedding and created choreographies they found doable and beautiful, as well as teaching singles and couples to dance for fun and social outlet.
That is my passion; sharing the beauty and enjoyment of dance. I can't get you on Dancing with the Stars, but I can give you a solid foundation to build on if you want to compete. And if you want to impress at your first dance, I can teach you some steps and moves that will fit the bill. If you want to have a fun date night and just enjoy dancing, I'm all for it. I move at your pace, review as necessary, and most of all, keep it fun and relaxed while still paying attention to technique.
