Jay Bragg plays happy music for people looking to get happy.
Raised from a family of musicians going back a century and best known for his work in American Roots genres - primarily country, blues, jazz and Christmas music, Bragg gained national recognition with his 2016 “Honky Tonk Dream” album and his work as Alan Jackson’s opening act on Jackson’s 2019 arena tour. Bragg founded “A Songwriter’s Christmas” concert series in 2020 featuring his original holiday material and his North Pole alter-ego act “King Kazoo and The Reindeer Band”. Now in its 4th year, “A Songwriter’s Christmas” tours in select cities throughout December.
Jay Bragg has spent a lifetime performing music - playing his first concert when he was 5 and playing 3600 shows all across America since. Aside from touring, Bragg has released 12 studio albums, opened for headliners like Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown, Dierks Bentley and Lake Street Dive.
Bragg also volunteers as a music companion for hospice patients every week, carrying on a family legacy of performing music for seniors.
If you’re looking to add some joy in your life for any occasion big or small, you’ve found the right musician!
