I have a masters of music in guitar performance from Illinois State University and a bachelor's in guitar performance from the University of Arizona. I have been a lifelong multi- instrumentalist focusing primarily on stringed instruments, piano, and vocal music. I customize each student's lessons to his/her personal musical goals while being sure to incorporate proper technique and make sure that he/she understands what he/she is playing, not just memorizing notes or chord changes. I have a fully functional recording studio in my lesson room and can make custom materials to ensure your advancement. I enjoy watching my students become competent musicians. Several of my prior students have gone on to have successful careers. It truly is fantastic to receive a link to a new television or radio commercial or copy of a former student's new album. Being able to give someone the tools to become the person he/she always imagined himself/herself to be brings me an immense sense of contentment.
