At my second home in Gatlinburg, I was having a drainage problem on my shingle roof around my chimney. May be a missing piece of flashing between the gutter and the chimney - when it rains or the snow melts water comes down between the chimney and the gutter resulting in mold forming down the T-111 siding on the chimney. Yes, this was a tiny job but the water will eventually cause more problems. Not a problem for Smith Roofing - they cut a slit for new kick out flashing to be installed, then they installed new white custom bent kick out flashing, sealed off any exposed fasteners and left a clean job site. They were professional every step of the process, arrived on time and finished very quickly. When I have any future roof problems, I will call Smith - they are very good

Smith Roofing has done my roof replacement ( both house and covered porch) and just finished replacing my gutters and their work is exceptional. My project manager for all this work was Brad Tindell and he made sure the work was done to his satisfaction, like it was his house!! Highly recommended!

Working with Smith Roofing & Exteriors surpassed my expectations, from the courtesy of everyone I worked or was in contact with, such as Chris, Taryn, Kris and his team, to the workmanship clearly visible in the final product, to the efficiency of the team executing the plan. Taryn's patience and expertise in drawing my vision and transferring onto paper was instrumental in materializing my dream of a sunken deck, and what a pleasure it was to work closely with this expert! Once the project was given to its manager, Kris Geyer, I was reminded again that I am in the best of hands with this unique challenge of a multi-level sunken deck, complete with lighting system and blending seamlessly into my beautifully landscaped backyard. Kris was never too far away to drive by, check on the progress, drop off material, get his hands dirty alongside the team of multiple workers. The design was executed so flawlessly, that even I did not expect the final project to look as good as it turned out. He is a consummate perfectionist, hard working and kind professional, always listening to me and providing guidance through the process. It is because of people like Kris that I will never stray away from this company and continue trusting them with all my future projects.

I contacted Smith Roofing and exteriors when we started finding shingles in our yard. Chris McBride came out and took photos and drone footage for us to show us the damage to our roof. He spent a good amount of time here with us, telling us what was going on with our roof what needed to be done and what he recommended. Chris was very knowledgeable, and I was confident after speaking with him that I had a grasp on what needed to be done and why. I contacted my insurance company and worked with them directly, but Smith Roofing and exteriors was more than willing to work with them on my behalf, they made contact with the adjuster, sent photos and videos, and made themselves available for any questions that the adjuster had. Brad Tindall, and his crew showed up yesterday to replace my roof. Brad called me the night before to let me know when they would be there and they arrived right on time. Brad was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable, and kept me informed on any issues or additional needs outside of the contract that I had signed. The crew worked quickly and efficiently and Brad and his crew did an excellent job cleaning up all the debris, you almost couldn’t tell they were here save for the brand new roof! During the final walk-through, Brad showed me photos of the roof and noted a few other issues with my home that I was unaware of. Needless to say, I will be hiring Smith Roofing and exteriors again. I had an excellent overall experience. I feel like the value of the work, and the materials was very high and priced fairly. Chris and Brad are great communicators and kept me informed throughout this entire process, which is very important, especially with such a big project as installing a new roof. I highly recommend this company as they were an absolute pleasure to work with.
