FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm pretty flexible and I try to be retail services because I'm just a guy with low overhead. I don't like any surprises on pricing though, so I usually won't throw a number out until it's pretty clear what's going on. I will often wave any fee at all if I determine I can't help with the problem depending on the type of the job and I try to determine that before we go anywhere with the job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll usually try to assess the problem with some questions either over text or the phone and sometimes in person depending on the job. Then I'll see if there has been any prior evaluation either by the customer or a professional and then check on the situation myself and try to make a determination about the problem.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been doing work with electronics and computers since I was a little boy. I've been a professional landlord for 10 years and I've been doing contracting and handyman things for about 15 years.
