We are licensed massage therapists who specialize in post-op lymphatic massage, Thai, deep tissue, prenatal, and medical massage. Post-op massage or medical massage treatments can include therapeutic ultrasound, radio frequency therapy, infrared light therapy, essential oils for inflammation and skin healing, and scar release therapy, in addition to manual lymphatic drainage. If you're planning for orthopedic surgery, cosmetic surgery, or you're in pain from an accident, overuse, or just day-to-day living, I encourage you to contact us. While we don't take insurance, we can provide you the documentation you need for reimbursement should your insurance cover medical massage. We also practice non-invasive body contouring for those seeking to look and feel better without surgery -- primarily via maderoterapia (wood therapy) and cavitation. In addition to medical/post-op massage and body contouring, we offer bamboo therapy, hot stone massage, cupping, Thai yoga massage, lomi lomi Hawaiian therapeutic massage, Swedish therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal massage, and Reiki. Our goal is to support the health, healing, and wellbeing of of clients through therapeutic bodywork. We customize our therapeutic approach for the individual — massages aren’t one-size-fits-all. We're generally booked out 3-4 weeks in advance with a waiting list, so please plan accordingly -- set an appointment, and if we have cancellations we may be able to move you up. I had an excellent massage! David consistently checked in to see if the pressure was right and he really found some tight and sore muscles. It is one day later and I feel so much more able to move those stiff joints.

David’s style of massage was better than advertised. With chronic back and longstanding flexibility issues, I have had good body work before - but what I experienced with David was different and much better than anything else I had ever experienced. You can tell he cares about his work and trying to be as helpful as possible to his clients.

I do offer prepaid packages to help you save some money.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Feel free to ask any questions. All of the intake paperwork is done online before your first appointment so we can jump right in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the Tennessee School of Therapeutic Massage, where I studied Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and prenatal massage. Since that time, I've sought various other certifications to deepen my practice, including manual lymphatic drainage, post-op lymphatic massage, scar therapy, and more. I’m a certified Thai yoga practitioner. I attended a 164-hour Thai yoga massage intensive at the Thai Yoga Center in Brooksville, Florida. I’m also certified to practice Lomi Lomi Hawaiian therapeutic massage by Wolfgang Luckmann. The long, flowing strokes and broad, deep pressure make this my favorite wellness and energy-healing massage modality. I'm a Holy Fire Usui Reiki level 2 practitioner. I completed yoga teacher training in 2007 at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA. I'm registered with the Yoga Alliance as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher at the 200-hour training level, and a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider.
