I'm a PTR-certified former professional and college tennis player with more than 30 years of competitive and coaching experience. I have trained players from all three NCAA divisions, touring professionals on the men's and women's professional tours and ITF events, as well as highly ranked state junior players. My coaching approach combines modern tennis techniques with a strong emphasis on the mental side of the game—building confidence, decision-making, focus, and competitive toughness to help players perform at their highest level. I had no experience with tennis before my first lesson with Mauro. He was patient, used various forms of explanation to make sure I understood, and really helped me craft the basics of my shot. He gave me specifics to work on before we meet again and laid out a plan for how we’ll continue forward should I wish to pursue further instruction.

Mauro has been great teaching my 14 year old son tennis. My son learned so much in one lesson. Mauro is very patient, helps correct and critique as they go and even after two sessions so far my son is doing really well at tennis.

Lessons are $100 per hour for one person, indoor court fee included. I teach at Maryland Farms in Brentwood.

Analysis of customer's all around game. Once the analysis is done we start working on it physically, and mentally.

PTR certification, juniors, professional, and college competition.
