FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge based on the weight of the items, the room they take up in our trailer, and the distance from us. If you are within 20 miles of us, no extra fee will be added to the job. Anything beyond that is in our extended service area. We will discuss the fee before agreeing to schedule you. We offer discounts for veterans, first responders, and active duty to honor the people who have served and put their lives on the line. We also provide discounts to realtors, elders, property management companies, and others. If you have any questions, send us a message! When scheduling a service, we respond as quickly as possible, usually using the phone number you provided on Thumbtack. We will give you a ballpark price over the phone for all the items you include in the picture and/or describe. Final price will be decided before the work begins at the job site. Forms of payment accepted: No Fee: Cash Check Fee at 3%: Venmo Cashapp Zelle Apple Wallet
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Junkies Junk Removal, we keep things simple and stress-free from start to finish. When a new customer reaches out—whether by phone, text, or online—we start by learning what needs to be removed. From there, we provide a free, no-obligation estimate based on the type and amount of junk. In some cases, we can give a quote right from photos, or we’ll swing by for a quick look if needed. Once you’re happy with the price, we schedule a pickup time that works best for you—often the same or next day. On the day of the job, our crew showed up on time, ready to do all the heavy lifting. All you have to do is point, and we’ll take care of the rest, including a thorough cleanup before we go. We make sure anything that can be donated or recycled is handled responsibly. Once the job is done, we do a final walk-through with you to ensure you’re satisfied, and then we wrap things up with easy on-the-spot payment options.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While formal education isn’t required in the junk removal industry, what we bring to the table is hands-on experience, practical knowledge, and a strong work ethic. Our team has been trained in safe lifting techniques, efficient hauling, and proper disposal methods to handle every job with care and professionalism. We've also taken the time to learn local disposal regulations, recycling practices, and donation partnerships to keep our service eco-friendly and responsible. Our training comes from being out in the field, solving real-world problems, and consistently delivering outstanding customer results.
