I specialize in family, music, commercial and corporate photography. Our work ranges from families wanting unique portraits to headshots for Fortune 500 companies. I had just a few days with all my kids in town and really wanted a family photo so I called David. Whenever I tell my family I want a photo I always meet with grumbles and resistance but after the shoot with David everyone was in a good mood and said it went so easily. David has a kind, easy going spirit. The photos turned out fantastic. We had so many great options from which to choose. He truly captured our family well. My most favorite thing about Dave is his lens. No, not that kind of lens. But the lens by which he views the world. The lens which feeds his ability to capture not just beautiful images, but beautiful moments. His gift isn't only in delivering excellent photos, but in stewarding those rare moments where the really good stuff comes to life. That's what sets him apart from any regular ole joe operating a camera!

Almost all of my photography projects are custom priced according to the specifics of the job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically have a conversation with a potential client about their photography needs and whether or not I'm able to meet those needs. Then I'll explain the process step by step and make sure that the client understands the details and workflow of the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Art Education from the University of Georgia where I specialized in Ceramics and Photography. I also teach photography at O'More College of Design in Franklin TN and have been a full time freelance photographer for 7 years.
