Alan taught me chess lessons from when I was an absolute beginner to an intermediate player. He was patient, had a great knowledge of the game and taught me some lessons that I now teach students almost 20 years later. Without any hesitations, I'd recommend Alan for any group or private chess class.

Mr. Kantor is an superb chess coach! He is very knowledgeable, took time to assess each of my sons' level of knowledge and devised a plan which helped them prepare for competition and excel at chess.
