When choosing a web hosting provider, cheapest is not always best. Remember: you get what you pay for. That said, web hosting is a very common service and is somewhat of a commodity, so you shouldn't pay an arm and a leg either. If you're paying several hundred dollars per month, then chances are, you're getting ripped off.
