Thank you for your feedback, but I feel like you’re being unfair to me. You hired me to install cabinets and barn doors, not to fix a door that was improperly installed by someone else. I did an excellent job installing your cabinets! I didn’t use the brackets you had because I found them unreliable. Instead, I went to the store at my own expense, bought sturdy brackets, and completed the work to the highest standard. When I started working on the door, I found that the track was installed incorrectly and suggested coming back another time to fix it when I had availability. On top of that, I worked over 4 hours at your house—not including my trip to the store and the extra expenses I covered—and you paid me less than what was owed. I didn’t say anything at the time and didn’t ask for the full payment. I’m not refusing to install your door; I’m just currently busy with another project and have a heavy workload. I could potentially rearrange my schedule to come back, but I’m not confident I’ll be paid fairly, considering what happened last time. While I was working at your house, I heard that you’re a person of faith. I kindly ask you to treat me honestly and fairly as a believer would, and not damage my reputation unjustly.
