FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$85 / 60 minute in-person session $50 / 30 minute in-person session Fees to be paid at the completion of each session. There is no contract, you are free to discontinue sessions anytime. Cancellations or rescheduled sessions within less than 12 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a fee of half the session price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free 30 minute virtual/phone consultation. This time allows you to explain what you'd like to achieve by hiring a trainer, your past experiences and preferences. I'll also collect health/medical history information. When we agree to meet for a first session, I will prepare an initial workout designed to help me assess your current level which will inform the longer- term program I design. I will also perform several movement assessments. In your second session, I will take circumference measurements (depending on your preference) and you will complete your first benchmark workout. Subsequent sessions will include plenty of variation, guiding you progressively toward your goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a certified personal trainer since 2014. This process requires several months of study with a strong focus on Human Movement Science and Program Design. To become certified, I completed a proctored final exam and CPR/AED certification. Additionally, I am an ACE certified Fitness Nutrition Specialist and Menopause 2.0 certified (via Dr. Stacy Sims). To maintain my certifications, I am required to complete continuing education credits every two years as well as maintenance of CPR/AED certificate.
