Ms. Lisa is not only an amazing vocal coach! She is a wonderful and lovely person with such a great attitude and spirit. I would not want to work with anyone else but Ms. Lisa. She believes in her clients and helps turn their dreams for singing into a true reality. She helped me to get over stage freight after my first singing lessons. Although nervous at first, I found our first meeting to be EXTREMELY helpful and illuminating right off the bat. I'm not used to singing in front of people but I can already tell how helpful these lessons are going to be. Lisa Marie is a wonderful vocal coach and I highly recommend going with her for lessons.

Lisa Marie is one of those rare teachers who knows her stuff but can also communicate it very clearly to anyone else. She teaches you to sing by hearing and feeling rather than throwing a whole bunch of technical terms at you. I saw noticeable improvements in my singing and confidence level after just one lesson. The lesson was structured but also flexible to accommodate my specific needs. I will definitely be taking weekly lessons and can't wait to see how much I learn and grow in the future. Highly recommend!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First meeting is extended to include a time to get to know each other and discuss client goals. Each lesson has a client driven agenda. Clients select the songs we use for the voice session. We begin with warm ups, scales and other vocal exercises. Majority of the time is spent SINGING! The goal each session is to apply the techniques that we are learning to our latest song choice. We also cover secrets of the trade, stage presence and DELIVERY!

I am a self-trained artist. My life of singing consists of: Front man/ soloist for San Diego's top corporate bands, (Mar Dels, Rhythm Makers, Kalayaan, High Density), Skyline and Bellevue church choirs Featured artist for live stage shows, television and recording projects Top stateside venues such as Los Angeles House of Blues, San Diego 4th and B, Las Vegas strip (Flamingo, Mirage, Motown Café, Hard Rock)International Venues in Bahamas, 1998; China, 2004; Mexico, 1983 Winning titles include San Diego Vocalist of the Year 2000 and Entertainer of the Year (Top 40, 1996; Broadway 2000; Showtunes 1997)
