FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I start lessons with a new student, we always discuss about their current Spanish level, their learning goals and their prefered learning style and based on that, I create custom-made lessons that will meet the student's needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Linguistics & translation as well as an ELE (Spanish as a second language) training given by ELEinternacional in Spain.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up in a multicultural environnement, I was always very curious about different languages and cultures, so I knew from a really young age that I would want to work in a field related to languages. I started out doing interpretation and translation from Spanish to French or English at my church and I really enjoyed it and later I studied Linguistics and Translation which really helped me understand Spanish better. When I moved to the United States, it was clear to me that teaching Spanish was what I had to do, so I started to work as a private tutor and I could´nt ask for a better job, I absolutely love what I do.
