I provided to Scott the 2D engineering drawings for my automobile after-market product. He converted 16 pages to 3D-CAD forma and then provided technical input into material selection which was then 3D Printed. We went thru several design changes and models to achieve my final design. From the beginning I knew I had made the right decision to hire Scott to create a 3D CAD model of my product for use in 3D printing. As a first time product developer I was feeling incredibly overwhelmed and nervous to share my idea with someone else, but Scott quickly put me at ease with his professional and patient demeanor. He constantly sent updates of the design, allowing me to provide feedback on the work and we held regular video chats where he would share his work screen with me and we could discuss and change the design of the product in realtime, which was highly productive and really sped up the process. I would highly recommend hiring Scott for your product design work, especially if you are a first time product designer, like myself and have been intimidated by large, expensive design firms. I am so satisfied with Scott's work that I am hiring him to do the 3D printing of the product as well and will not hesitate to hire him again to design other products for me.

I'm a visual artist and had a project outside my skill set that I needed help with. This was the first time that I've used a fabricator that I haven't been able to work with in person and I was hesitant as to whether that would work out. Scott was great as he was able to clearly explain my options and the pros and cons of each. Most importantly without meeting in person he was able to execute my idea. This alone would have been impressive but Scott also was competitively priced and finished the work much sooner than I had expected. I would highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a professional 3D modeller and printer -and especially to anyone who is new to the process. It sounds cliché but he really did manage to make my idea/concept a reality (and within budget!) Thank you Scott!

I got so lucky to have found Scott and his team to design my product. I needed a 3D rendering of a movie prop (Thor's hammer) and he did a fantastic job. He was always very attentive and was extremely patient with the process, as there is always back and forth on a design project. The render came out fantastic. I highly recommend him and his team!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically bill by the hour but there have been times I have done a project for a fixed price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My normal process is to have a Skype or web conference with the client to understand the requirements. Then I will get to the design work, and when I feel that I have a good first draft I will set up a second meeting. This process may go through a few loops before completion. I guarantee my work and will work till it is done correctly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and 10 years of work experience in product design, project engineering, and 3D modeling.
