FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe in transparency and fairness in our pricing. To provide an accurate estimate and ensure a mutual commitment, we charge a fee for site visits and estimates. This fee helps cover travel costs and ensures that our clients are serious about moving forward with their projects. It's a common practice among contractors to charge for estimates to compensate for the time and resources spent on-site visits and initial evaluations. Once the site visit is complete, the next step involves providing a formal proposal. This includes detailed cost estimates and a breakdown of the project scope. From there, we enter into contract negotiations, which may involve preconstruction and/or construction contracts, depending on the project's needs. The basic lifecycle of a construction process with us includes: - Initial Consultation: Discuss project goals, budget, and timeline. - Site Visit and Estimate: On-site assessment and preliminary cost estimate. - Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Finalizing project scope, budget, and contract terms. - Preconstruction Phase: Planning, permitting, and scheduling. - Construction Phase: Execution of the project, including regular updates and quality checks. - Project Completion and Handover: Final walkthrough, address any last details, and hand over the completed project. We strive to provide exceptional communication and professionalism throughout the process, ensuring our clients feel informed and confident at every stage.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We follow a structured and transparent process to ensure a smooth and successful experience for our new customers: Initial Consultation: We start by having a detailed conversation with the customer to understand their vision, project goals, budget, and timeline. This can be done over the phone, via video call, or in person. Site Visit and Assessment: Next, we schedule a site visit to assess the property and gather necessary details. This helps us understand the project's scope and any unique challenges that may arise. Estimate and Proposal: After the site visit, we provide a detailed estimate and proposal outlining the project's scope, costs, and timeline. This includes a breakdown of materials, labor, and any other relevant expenses. Contract Negotiation and Agreement: Once the proposal is accepted, we move into the contract negotiation phase. We discuss the terms and conditions, project schedule, payment milestones, and any other specific requirements. Once both parties agree, we sign a formal contract. Preconstruction Phase: During this phase, we handle all necessary planning and permitting, secure subcontractors, and finalize the project schedule. This is also when we address any preconstruction tasks such as site preparation. Construction Phase: We begin the construction work according to the agreed-upon schedule. We maintain open communication with the customer throughout the process, providing regular updates and addressing any questions or concerns. Project Completion and Handover: Upon completing the project, we conduct a final walkthrough with the customer to ensure everything meets their expectations. We address any remaining details and hand over the completed project. Post-Project Follow-Up: After the project is complete, we follow up to ensure the customer is satisfied with the work and address any further needs they may have. Our goal is to make the process as seamless and stress-free as possible, providing clear communication and high-quality work at every stage.
